Derived from the urban myth legend that scorpions found their afterlife in Tequila, our name Telsn, meaning the tail pays homage to the scorpions stinger and tequila's heritage. We craft our tequila from the highest quality 100% Weber Blue Agave, carefully harvested, closely trimmed and cooked slowly in brick ovens in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Once cooked, we crush, ferment with champagne yeast, and twice distill each expression in small batches. Telsn Aejo ages in French Limousine Oak barrels for 14 months before bottling. We proudly produce and age our tequila's at our distillery, named El Patriota which is an additive-free facility.
